O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The prayer in this Writ Petition is to direct the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's complaint in Diary Number 1750/IN/2023 in accordance with law within a time frame.

2. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the time of admission itself. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this Writ Petition, protecting the interests of the

respondents 2 to 5 also, notice to the respondents 2 to 5 is dispensed with.

3. According to the petitioner, for the violation of Human Rights by the respondents 2 to 5, committed on 03.11.2023 in front of Manur Police Station, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the first respondent. Though the 1st respondent has received the complaint, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the Writ Petition.

4. Learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent, on instructions, stated that the first respondent Registrar, Human Rights Commission, has received the complaint and after scrutiny of the papers, the same will be numbered and listed before the State Human Rights Commission.

5. In view of the above, if the papers are otherwise in order, the first respondent is directed to number the complaint of the petitioner and list it before the State Human Rights Commission at the earliest possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
