ORDER

The present petition is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.176 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam, Thoothukudi District.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the trial is substantially completed and the case is posted for examination of Investigating Officer.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is suffering from a cardiac disease and he has undergone Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting surgery and he prays that the petitioner's appearance may be dispensed with.

4. Given the health condition of the petitioner and in view of the fact that substantial trial is completed, the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with unless the trial Court requires the presence of the petitioner for any specific purpose.
