P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioner and her representatives to inspect the Manual Registers or Records of Book No.III, Account Book, Thumb Impression Record, Copy of Will Existence Record, Copy of Will Sale Records along with CCTV Footage for the period 2017-2018 maintained with the 4th Respondent's office, to enable her to trace and locate the will pertaining to her grandfather Muthukrishnan and thereafter permit her to apply for certified copies of the relevant will and pass such further or other orders and thus render justice.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to allow the petitioner and her representatives to inspect the Manual Registers or Records of Book No.III, Account Book, Thumb Impression Record, Copy of Will Existence Record, Copy of Will Sale Records along with CCTV Footage for the period 2017-2018 maintained with the 4th Respondent's office, to enable her to trace and locate the will 2/5

pertaining to her grandfather Muthukrishnan and thereafter permit her to apply for certified copies of the relevant will.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to verify the 'A' Account Book alone for the relevant period in which the document said to have been registered in respect of the subject property and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
