O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 18.01.2021 and for a consequential direction to the second respondent to extend the period of contract to collect the license fee in the weekly and daily market in Peravoorani Town Panchayat by six months from 01.04.2021 and 30.09.2021.

2. In the considered view of this Court, the relief as sought for in this Writ Petition may not survive at this length of time, since the period itself is over. However, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will seek for refund of the license fee already paid.

3. If the petitioner makes any representation in this regard to the second respondent, the same will be dealt with in line with G.O.(D).No.337 Municipal 2/4

Administration and Water Supply (MA.IV) Department dated 16.06.2023 and decision will be taken within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a fresh representation from the petitioner.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
