ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to conduct the pending enquiry in appeal petition in Na.Ka.No.A6/4564/2020.

2.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, with the consent of parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Admittedly, the appeal is pending with the second respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that no enquiry has been conducted and the matter is being adjourned from time to time.

2/4

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submits that the said statement made by the petitioner is factually incorrect and the enquiry is being duly conducted by the second respondent and the next date of hearing has been fixed as 03.03.2025. 5.In view of the above and also considering the fact that earlier there has been a direction by this Court to complete the enquiry within a period of twelve weeks and yet the enquiry has not been completed, the second respondent shall ensure that the enquiry is finally concluded within a period of eight weeks from 03.03.2025, without seeking any further extension of time. It is made clear that the petitioner shall co-operate with the enquiry before the second respondent. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
