This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for life and limb by considering the representation dated 25.01.2020.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.374 of 2019 and summons have been issued to the counter parties viz.,Rajakanan and another and enquiry has been fixed on 09.02.2020 and the counter parties have not appeared. He would submit that enquiry will be conducted and if necessary suitable protection will be given.
