Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the contemnor/respondents for their deliberate and wilful disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 29.11.2019, in Crl.MP(MD)No.9664 of 2019 in Crl.OP(MD)No.9091 of 2019.

To direct the respondents to file a charge sheet in Crime No.07/2017 dated 22/05/2017 on the file of the 2nd respondent Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Police Station, Tirunelveli in accordance with law within a stipulated time. O R D E R

Contending that the order dated 26.02.2021 made in Crl.OP(MD) No.9091 of 2019 was not complied with, this contempt petition came to be filed.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor informed the Court that final report has since been filed against the accused viz., Kalyani and Prabhakaran and that it has been taken on file as Special CC Nos.5 of 2021, 6 of 2021, 7 of 2021 & 8 of 2021 on the file of Special Court, Tirunelveli. The next hearing date is 01.12.2021.

3.In view of the compliance of the direction given by this Court, this contempt petition is closed.
