ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's petition in Na.Ka.No.A6/8805/2025 dated 13.09.2025, relating to Survey No. 262/2 in Pattinamkaathan Group, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the subject property is ancestral in nature. While so, the property was transferred in favour of a third party. Therefore, the petitioner approached the second respondent and submitted an application seeking a declaration that the said transfer is null and void. Since no action has been taken till date, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present writ petition seeking the relief stated supra.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders

will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 13.09.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
