Prayer in HCP(MD) No.1618 of 2015:- This Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondent to produce the body or person of the detenue by name Vanaja, W/o. kannan, aged about 34 years and set her at liberty.

Order : This Habeas Corpus petition coming on for hearing upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S R.VENKATESWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.Ramachandran, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the Respondents and the court made the following order:- As per order dated 04.02.2016, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) to the High Court Legal Services committee attached to this Bench and to that effect a memo has been filed and the same is recorded.

Consequently, this petition is allowed.
