O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to furnish the order copy dated 09.09.2017 appointing the 3rd respondent herein as Anganvadi Worker, at Vadakku Nallur village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 28.06.2019 and 16.3.2020.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that she had sought for a copy of the appointment order of the 3rd respondent, but the respondents 1 and 2 had not acted upon her representations. 3.I am of the view that if at all the petitioner is entitled to have the copy of the appointment order of the 3rd respondent, it would always be open to the petitioner to make an application under provisions of the Right to Information Act. However, the entitlement of the petitioner to have the copy of the appointment order under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, would be decided by the authority concerned and this Court has not expressed anything on the entitlement of the petitioner in this regard. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD) No.2807 of 2021 4.With the above observation, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the 2nd respondent seeking for the copy of the required document under the provisions of the Right to Information Act and on such approach, the 2nd respondent shall consider such request on its own merits and take appropriate course of action in accordance with the provision under the Right to Information Act.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
