Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the respondent to dispose the online application submitted by the petitioner on 17.12.2021, requesting to make sub division of Survey No.93/3 in Reddiyapatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District in respect of the petitioner's share is concerned i.e., eastern side of 2 acres 5-1/2 cents and issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner and his brothers Kathar Oli and Nazar, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard Mr.N.Rahamadullah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose the online application submitted by the petitioner on 17.12.2021.

3. The petitioner had made an application through online and also paid necessary charges for sub-dividing the lands in Survey No.93/3 in Reddiyapatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District insofar as the petitioner's share is concerned namely on the eastern side of 2 acres 5 1⁄2 cents and also to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner/M.Abdul Rahim and in the name of his brothers Kathar Oli and Nazar. The said online application had been given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.2326 of 2022 but since steps had not been taken, the petitioner had also given representation to the respondent/the Tahsildar, Natham, Dindigul District.

4. The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus to issue a direction to do necessary needful pursuant to the said online application. In view of that fact, a direction/Mandamus is issued to the respondent/Tahsildar, Natham, Dindigul District to take on record the said online application, issue notice to the petitioner and also to his two brothers, Kathar Oli and Nazar and thereafter proceed further to sub-divide the land as requested, if the request of the petitioner can be granted. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
