O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police. Perused the materials available on record.

3.It is the contention of the petitioner, earlier in Cr.No.250 of 2019, a case has been registered with regard to the missing of his sister's daughter. In this regard, the respondent police has conducted investigation and called the petitioner for enquiry, though he was not aware about the whereabouts of his sister's daughter. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in Cr.No.250 of 2019, the victim was secured. The victim has married one person. After completion of investigation, final report was filed before the concerned Court. However, at the time of trial, the victim and the accused had again eloped. In order to know about their whereabouts, the petitioner has been called for enquiry.

5.In view of the above submissions, it is clear that the petitioner has been called for enquiry by the respondent police only to know about the whereabouts of the victim and accused, which cannot be termed as harassment.
