This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.538 of 2023, on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Sankarankoil, dated 29.10.2023 and quash the same as illegal.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case in C.C.No.538 of 2023 itself was disposed of by the trial Court by acquitting the accused through judgment dated 18.02.2025. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.
