This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.50 of 2013, on the file of the first respondent Police, pending in the Judicial Magistrate Court, Cheranmahadevi.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation has been completed and a charge sheet has been filed and the prayer sought by the petitioners has become infructuous.
