Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.MAHENDRAPATHY S, Advocate for the petitioner and M/S.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the Judge, Special Court to deal with the cases of offence in contravention of the provisions of the Mines and Minerals (D&R) Act, Madurai, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19961 of 2021.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned Judge concerned and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
