ORDER

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had filed this Writ Petition seeking direction against the Respondents to grant the permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament at Ariyandipuram, Ilaiyangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District from 03.02.2024 to 04.02.2024. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the dates mentioned in the petition had been expired. The Petitioner had to give fresh representation on behalf of the Organizing Committee not as individual.

3.In the light of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Petitioner is directed to furnish fresh representation in the name of the Organizing Committee, instead of individual. On receipt of such representation, the Respondents are directed to dispose of the same in the light of the circular of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu/Head of State Police Force, Chennai-4, issued in Rc.No.193784/PAC-2/2017, dated 19.03.2019 immediately regarding permission and protection. 2/4

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
