ORDER
On the complaint of the husband of the second respondent, the first respondent has registered a case for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Act.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondent Police.
3. It is represented that the defacto complainant is no more and a joint compromise memo has been filed by the wife of the defacto complainant and a joint memo of compromise has been filed informing that the matter has been amicably settled between them, in which, both the petitioner and the wife of the second respondent/defacto complainant and also their respective counsel signed.
5. In such circumstances, accepts the memo of compromise, all further proceedings in Crime.No.935 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent police shall stand quashed. The joint memo of compromise shall form part of the record.
