ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Kida-Muttu cultural event in Srinivasa Perumal and Thoppu Karuppasamy Temple festival scheduled to be conducted on 12.02.2023 at Seemanuthu Village, Usilampatti Taluk of

2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 25.01.2023 to the respondents, seeking permission for conducting Kida-Muttu cultural event in Srinivasa Perumal and Thoppu Karuppasamy Temple. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

4.Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2023 will be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, we are inclined to direct the

2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law on or before 11.02.2023, after providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
