ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Special Court for Trial of Cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Tirunelveli, to dispose of the Special Case No.4 of 2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there are 17 witnesses, of which, only three witnesses remain to be examined and the petitioner faces considerable hardship due to prolong trial.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner faces trial in S.C.No.4 of 2016 for offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the case is posted on 30.04.2019. 5.In view of the above, the Special Judge for Trial of Cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Tirunelveli is directed to dispose of Special Case No.4 of 2016, within a period of three months from 30.04.2019.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
