ORDER

: The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 28.01.2025 under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, praying to grant bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 26.01.2025 at about 10.30 hrs, the defacto complainant, who is an Advocate, was travelling in his car bearing Reg.No.TN-58-AT-6954 and the accused person was riding a two-wheeler bearing Reg.No.TN-59-AY-6265 and he dashed on the car belonging to the defacto complainant and caused damages. When the same was questioned, the accused person abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also threatened with dire consequences. Apart from that, he was also attacked.

3. This Court vide order dated 30.01.2025 granted interim bail to the petitioner and referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Court. Mr.Aayiram. K.Selvakumar, the mediator appointed by this Court in this case, is present before the Court.

4. This Court has perused the mediation report submitted by the mediator and all other materials available on record.

5. In view of the facts and circumstances of this case and the mediation report 2/4

submitted by the mediator, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The mediation report shall form part and parcel of the order. In view of the mediation report submitted by the mediator, the respondent-police is directed to act as per mediation report in accordance with law.
