Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the
records pertaining to the impugned notice vide Na.Ka.No.771/2023-102/A2, dated 18.12.2023, issued by this 3rd respondent, as not valid and quash the same and thereby direct the respondents not to go against the rights of the Pillaimar and Yadava Community People of Sennamanaickenpatti Village with respect to the Ponnar Sankar temple situated in S.No.351/2 in the same village (Chettinaickenpatti revenue village). For Petitioner :

ORDER
It is submitted by both the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the respondents that the impugned proceedings, dated 18.12.2023, have become infructuous, inasmuch as the last date for filing the applications was 17.01.2024.
2. In view of the fact that the impugned notification has worked itself out, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition, which is, accordingly, closed. It is always open for the respondent authorities to call for fresh applications for appointment of Trustees in accordance with law. No
costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) Nos.2477 and 2478 of 2024 are closed.
