ORDER

This quash petition is filed to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.202 of 2004 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, having been taken cognizance for the offence under Sections 147, 353, 506(ii), 365 read with 511 and 149 of I.P.C. against the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that even though he filed the petition to quash the criminal proceedings, now, he restricted the prayer to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.202 of 2004 within a time frame. 3.Considering the said submission and also considering the fact that the case is of the year 2004, this Court deem fit to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate to dispose of the case, within a time frame.

4.Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.202 of 2004 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
