ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give protection to conduct the "Maha Sivan Rathiri" festival in a peaceful manner by the petitioner trust on 26.02.2025. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the President of and one of the Managing Trustee of the "Kutty Nadar Mandagapadi Trust". He would further submit that the petitioner submitted a representation dated 07.01.2025 to conduct "Maha Sivan Rathiri"on 26.02.2025 and the same has not been considered and therefore, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that there is no objection from anyone to conduct the festival by the petitioner, hence, the representation of the petitioner would be considered positively. 2/4

4.Recording the above submission, the official respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2025 forthwith and give appropriate protection to conduct the festival, ie., "Maha Sivan Rathiri". Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
