P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from taking any adverse actions till the disposal of the Appeal in A.S.No.49 of 2024 before the learned Sub-Court, Aruppukottai based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2025.

ORDER

With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. The writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from taking any adverse actions till the disposal of the Appeal in A.S.No.49 of 2024 before the Sub-Court, Aruppukottai.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the fact that the appeal suit is pending concerning the title of the subject properties and in view of the fact that patta presently stands in the name of the writ petitioner, the revenue authorities shall refrain from effecting any mutation of revenue records including the patta until the appeal suit is disposed of on merits. The learned Additional Government Pleader also submits that the authorities will not venture to carry out any mutation pending disposal of the appeal suit in A.S.No.49 of 2024 before the Sub-Court, Aruppukottai.

5. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Additional Government Pleader, no positive orders are required in this writ petition and hence, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No 19.02.2025 am 3/5
