PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020 to construct the New Fair Price Shop in Barbaramammalpuram village, Tirunelveli District within the time frame as may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a representation inter alia alleging that ideal place to locate the fair price shop is not the place, in which, it is functioning now, instead, it should be located in S.No.621/1 Kadangulam Village, which belongs to the Government. In the representation, the petitioner has also stated that more people would be benefitted by the aforesaid change of place. Seeking appropriate action based on the said representation made on 10.02.2020, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Taking note of the pendency of the representation, we call upon the respondent No.4 to look into the said representation and dispose it of within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
