ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondents 3 to 5 and their henchmen.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the third respondent, CSR.No.490 of 2023, came to be registered and after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed. He would further submit that subsequently, the petitioner has preferred another complaint and the same is pending. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would also submit that there existed property dispute between the brothers and sisters, including the petitioner.

3. Since there existed property dispute between the parties, the question of granting police protection does not arise at all. As of now, leaving open the petitioner's rights and remedies, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
