ORDER
The fixing of the age limit for recruitment to the post of Assessor is the prerogative of the respondent Corporation. However, such prescription of the age limit should be based on the decision taken by the concerned committees of the Corporation. 2.In the instant case, the age limit of 32 years for the post of Assessors, as per the notification dated 08.01.2020, has been taken through the Board proceedings in B.P.(FB).No.1, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.2467 of 2020 18.01.2000, which has been consistently followed even in the year 2013, the proof of which has been produced before this Court. 3.As such, the petitioner's presumption that the age limit in the impugned notification has been fixed arbitrarily is baseless. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
