ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her school going daughter's life and limb on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner on 22.01.2025.

2.The petitioner is running a small beauty parlour. For the purpose of business, the petitioner had taken a loan from the third and fourth respondents with interest. Later, the petitioner had repaid the same to the third and fourth respondents. Even thereafter, without satisfying with the said amount, the third and fourth respondent continued their demand and also threatened the petitioner with their henchmen and hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the respondent police. However, no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner has borrowed some amount from the third and fourth respondents and she had been threatened by the third and fourth respondents. The complaint was given to the 2/5

Superintendent of Police on 23.01.2025 and the same was forwarded to the second respondent on 29.01.2025. He further submits that summons have been sent to the third and fourth respondent as well as to the petitioner on 04.02.2025.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that the petitioner will appear before second respondent police for enquiry and submit her explanation.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court directs the second respondent to cause enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and give police protection to the petitioner, if it is required. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
