ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Kida-Muttu cultural event on guise of the Tamilar Thai Thirunal festival on 12.03.2025 at Usilampatti Road, Kannan Nagar, Batlgundu, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2025.

2.The petitioner had given a representation to the respondents on 13.01.2025, in this regard. Since the said representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 4 and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be disposed of by the respondents in accordance with law within a time frame.

4.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
