Mr.C.Bharathi Prayer: To modify the condition imposed on the petitioner the condition in point No.6 clause (c) to permit the petitioner to report before any other police station in the jurisdiction of Karappakkam, Chennai instead of "to report before the respondent police daily to 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation" in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.23494 of 2025 dated 18.12.2025.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.23494 of 2025, dated 18.12.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is residing in Karapakkam, Chennai, and is taking care of her son, who is studying in the 12th standard, and whose final examinations are going to commence shortly. Hence, the petitioner prays for modification of the said condition.

3. Considering the submission of the petitioner, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.23494 of 2025, dated 18.12.2025 is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall report and sign before the Inspector of Police, Karappakkam Police Station, Chennai, for two Saturdays at 10.30 a.m., and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation."

4. The learned Counsel appearing for intervenor submitted that the defacto complainant, namely, Pratim Bikash Hajra, has already filed a petition in O.A.No.26 of 2024 in Crime No.8 of 2023 before the TNPID Court, Madurai, as per direction of this Court. However, the TNPID Court has not numbered the petition. The TNPIC Court is directed to number the petition filed by the defacto complainant at the earliest.

5. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
