ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and Sections 20 and 30 of Arms Act, in Crime No. 738 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were in possession of 2.4 kg ganja and 2 Aruvals. Hence, the apprehension of arrest. Hence, a case has

been registered as against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and she has not committed any offence. He seeks this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the offences committed by the petitioner are serious in nature. Further, a non bailable warrant is pending against the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is directing the petitioner to surrender before the Principal Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Madurai. The petitioner shall submit a bail application before the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned. On such submission, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall consider the bail application in accordance to law on merits on the same date. 6.With the above said directions, the criminal original petition is disposed of. 29-01-2026 Tmg To 1.Inspector Of Police, Avaniyapuram Police Station Avaniyapuram Madurai City.
