RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time to surrender and execute the surety before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Srivilliputhur as per the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl OP(MD)No.9980 of 2020 dated 18.09.2020.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.GANESHKAMU, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner's surrender and execute sureties in Crl.M.P(MD) No. 7727 of 2020 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.9980 of 2020, dated 23.12.2020. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court by an order dated 18.09.2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum before the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sriviliputhur .

While executing sureties the learned Magistrate had insisted for solvency certificate based on the property documents to be obtained from the revenue officials. He would further submit that there was some delay in getting the same, hence he filed for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

CRL MP(MD) No.1125 of 2021 extension of time in Crl.M.P(MD) No.7727 of 2020 and this Court has extended two weeks time. Thereafter also the petitioner was unable to get the solvency certificate from the revenue officials. Now the petitioner has made ready the certificate, hence he seeks further time.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender by the petitioner before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted and if the petitioner fails to comply with the order within the stipulated period, the respondent police shall secure the petitioner and proceed in accordance with law. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. sd/- 12/02/2021 / TRUE COPY / / /2021 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
