This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Cr.No.623 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent. 2.The case of prosecution is that on 11.12.2023 at about 04.00 p.m., the victim was kidnapped by the accused persons in their Car bearing No.PY 05 N 9097. Hence, the case.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners submitted that the parties have amicably settled their issue. Hence, prays to quash the FIR.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the investigation is not yet completed. 5.Though the parties are said to have settled their issue, considering the nature of offence and the stage of investigation, this Court is not inclined to intervene at this stage. The points raised by the petitioners 2/4

can be appreciated at the stage of investigation. In the event, if a final report is filed as against the petitioners, they are at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
