ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.4 of 2004 within a time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of 12 years from the date of registration of the case, the respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli on 18.02.2010 itself. The said submission of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

5.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no notice has been served upon the petitioner by the Court below.

6.It is open to the petitioner to approach the Court below for getting copy of the charge sheet, even if no notice is served upon him.

7.With the above observation, this Criminal Original petition is closed.
