ORDER

Seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.110 of 2022 from the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent, this criminal original petition is filed.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, who is the defacto complainant herein, had lodged a complaint before the second respondent police, with respect to the murder of her son, for which, first information report in Crime No.110 of 2022 was registered. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, submitted that in this case investigation is almost completed. 4.In view of the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to investigate the matter and conclude the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first 2/4

respondent police is directed to monitor the investigation which is being conducted by the second respondent police. The second respondent police is directed to appraise the progress of the investigation to the first respondent police every Friday.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
