ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mdnamus as against the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal preferred by the petitioner as against the order of the second respondent.

2. The second respondent herein by way of proceedings dated 25.09.2025 has rejected the request of the petitioner to grant layout approval. Challenging the same, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent under Section 79 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, on 05.01.2026. The present writ petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of the above said appeal.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal presented by the writ petitioner on 05.01.2026 within a period of 12(twleve) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
