Respondent PRAYER : This Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the respondent to expeditiously complete the investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.77 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to file the final report.

2. On perusal of material documents available on record, it reveals that the occurrence took place in the year 2016 for which a complaint has been filed by the petitioner only on 05.04.2019, after the lapse of three years.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions submitted that the enquiry is pending.
