O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] This writ miscellaneous petition has been filed for extension of emergency leave which was granted by this Court vide order dated 19.01.2026 passed in WP.Crl.(MD).No.2717/2025 for 7 days i.e., till today, on the ground that the petitioner is suffering from knee pain and she was advised to undergo knee replacement surgery.

2. According to the petitioner, the surgery is fixed to be done on 30.01.2026.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the petitioner is not even admitted into the hospital. She is sleeping in her house. She also did not inform anything to the person to examine her.

4. In view of the same, this petition for extension of emergency leave cannot be considered and the same is liable to be dismissed.

5. In the result, Writ Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to apply with medical records for emergency leave, if so advised.
