Petition filed Under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure code praying to direct the Learned II Additional District Judge, (PCR), Tirunelveli to accept the surrender of the Petitioner/Accused and consider the petitioner Bail Application and grant bail on the date of surrender itself in Crime No.239 of 2019 on the file of 2nd Respondent Police.

ORDER: This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.Sivabalan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate for the respondents R1 and R2, this Court made the following Order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender and execute sureties before the learned II Additional District Judge (PCR), Tirunelveli.

2. This Court, by an order dated 30.04.2019, directed the petitioner to appear before the trial Court within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since he could not appear before the trial Court, earlier, this Court, by an order dated 30.05.2019, extended the time by two more weeks. However, without appearing before the trial Court and file a petition, the petitioner has filed the present petition for extension of time.

3. Considering the fact that though the petitioner was given sufficient time for appearing before the trial Court, he deliberately failed to appear and file a petition, hence this petition is dismissed.
