This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of D.V.C.No.1 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam.

2.I am not satisfied with the reasons set out in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Therefore, the request for transfer is rejected. However, taking note of the other facts and circumstances, it is directed that the Court below shall not insist on the personal appearance of the petitioner for enquiry in the DVC proceedings. The petitioner can be represented through his counsel. Of course on material dates and when his testimony is required, the petitioner has to appear. On all other occasions, he can represent through video conferencing.
