ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichirappalli to expedite the trial in C.C.No.298 of 2018 which was taken cognizance for the offences under Sections 465, 468 and 471 I.P.C., registered in Crime No. 21 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police.

2.Mr.K.K.Rama Krishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the case is posted for questioning.

3.Mr.V.Nirmal Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the case was posted for questioning on 02.11.2018 and it has been periodically adjourned without any reason. Hence, he prays to expedite the trial in C.C.No.298 of 2018.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the case was posted for questioning in the year 2018 itself, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichirappalli is directed to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C.No.298 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
