Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents 1 to 2 herein to provide adequate police protection for life and limb of the petitioner from the life threat from 3 to 10 respondent and his men.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 2 herein to provide adequate police protection for life and limb of the petitioner from the life threat from 3 to 10 respondents.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is running a crusher unit for the past 30 years. The respondents 3 to 10 herein have interfered with the petitioner's business by demanding money. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint to the first and second respondents. However, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Pending complaint, the respondents 3 to 10 are threatening the petitioner. Therefore, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. Mr.K.K.Rama Krishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the complaint which was given by the petitioner is being enquired into and that apart one Karthick has also given a complaint against the petitioner and that is also being enquired into by the second respondent.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the enquiry has been commenced, the second respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
