The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichy, Trichy District to expedite the trial in STC.No.789 of 2018 and dispose of the case within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.S.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that though the complaint was lodged by the present petitioner in the year 2018, there is no progress in the case and that the petitioner is also a senior citizen. 3.Considering the representation submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichirappalli is directed to dispose of STC.No.789 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
