ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and her daughter. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner is being threatened and assaulted by the respondents 3 to 5 with an intention to grab the petitioner's property. The petitioner is a lady and living with his spinster daughter. Finding that there is no support from the male members and they are ladies, the private respondents trespassed into the petitioner's property and committed the offence and assaulted them. The petitioner has given a complaint in this regard and the case has been registered in Crime No.373 of 2022 on 05.11.2022. However, no action has been taken. Even thereafter, the private respondents have again assaulted the petitioner. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that on the complaint of the petitioner a case in crime No.42 of 2025 has been registered for the offence under Section 294(b) and 325 IPC and the case is under investigation and if it is found 2/4

that the private respondents are harassing the petitioner, they would be dealt with in Crime No.42 of 2025.

4.In view of the above submission, this directs the respondent police to warn the private respondents herein not to enter into the petitioner's property and if there is any threat as against the petitioner and her daughter, committed by the private respondents, the respondent police shall take appropriate action against the private respondents. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
