This Writ Petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's second appeal, dated 14.12.2018 filed under Rule 36-C (3) of the Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals Concession Rules 1959.

2.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Having regard to the limited scope of prayer in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal pending before the respondent, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions:
