ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. 2.The petitioner has given a representation before the first respondent for cancelling a document executed in the year 2008. I have held that such a relief cannot be granted. It is because during period when the document was executed, there was no circular or statutory provision enabling the authority to cancel the same. The petitioner cannot take advantage of the subsequent developments. If the petitioner feels aggrieved by the registration of the petition mentioned document, his remedy is elsewhere. 3.Leaving open the petitioner's other contentions and remedies, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
