ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to issue sub division Patta in Survey No.529/2, measuring 0.92.5 Ares, situated at Appananallur, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District, in the light of the judgment and decree in O.S.No.739 of 2023, on the file of the Sub-Court, Musiri, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2025, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 4 to 7, notice to the respondents 4 to 7 is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the subject property is ancestral in nature. The petitioner submitted an application dated 24.11.2025 seeking sub-division Patta. However, despite the lapse of considerable time, no action has been taken on the petitioner's application. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.11.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the respondents 4 to 7 herein and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of

twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
