Even today, when the matter is called, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought for adjournment. This shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Therefore, I have no other option except to dismiss the case for default. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
