O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.220 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirappalli.

2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the first respondent and learned counsel for the second respondent.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing learned counsel on both sides submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties in the mediation centre. The Mediation Report dated 21.01.2015 is also produced before this Court. This Court has also perused the same and satisfied that no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceeding in C.C.No.220 of 2014 pending.

4. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.220 of 2014 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirappalli is quashed. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD) No.1 of 2014 is closed.
