The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records pertaining to the case in Crime No.87 of 2014, on t he file of the Inspector of Police, Achanpudur Police Station, Tirunelveli District and quash the same.

2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instruction, would submit that investigation was conducted in Crime No.87 of 2014 and after investigation, the same was closed as mistake of fact on 05.08.2014.
